What are your candles made with?

Our candles are thoughtfully crafted with a coconut + beeswax blend, phthalate-free fragrance oils, and cotton wicks. We intentionally chose ingredients that align with our commitment to creating beautifully fragranced candles with a cleaner, paraffin-free formulation.

Are your candles paraffin-free?

Yes. Our current candle collection is made without paraffin. As part of our brand relaunch, we reformulated our candles using a coconut + beeswax blend that better reflects the direction and values of Flame2scent Candle Co.

Why did you switch to a coconut + beeswax blend?

As our brand evolved, we wanted to be even more intentional about the ingredients we use. After extensive research and testing, we chose a coconut + beeswax blend for its beautiful appearance, slow burn, and ability to complement our fragrance blends while allowing us to remain paraffin-free.

What type of wicks do you use?

We use lead-free cotton wicks in our candles. Each candle and fragrance combination is carefully tested to determine the appropriate wick for a balanced and consistent burn.

Are your fragrance oils phthalate-free?

Yes. We use phthalate-free fragrance oils sourced from trusted fragrance suppliers. Many of our signature scents are created by thoughtfully blending multiple fragrance oils to develop a scent that feels distinctive to Flame2scent Candle Co.

Do you use essential oils?

Our candles are primarily fragranced with high quality fragrance oils rather than being marketed as essential-oil candles. This allows us to create layered, complex scent profiles while maintaining consistent fragrance performance.

Are your candles made with 100% natural ingredients?

We don't describe our candles as 100% natural. Our wax blend contains coconut wax and beeswax, while our candles are fragranced with carefully selected fragrance oils. We prefer to be transparent about our ingredients rather than use broad terms that may be misleading.

How long should I burn my candle?

For the best experience, trim your wick to approximately ¼ inch before each burn and burn your candle for about 2–4 hours at a time. Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface and never leave a burning candle unattended.

Does the wax need to reach the edge of the jar on the first burn?

Not necessarily. Our candles are designed to burn gradually, so you may see a small amount of wax remaining along the sides of the vessel during the earlier burns. As the candle burns farther down, the additional heat will help the remaining wax catch up.

Why do I need to trim the wick?

Keeping your wick properly trimmed helps maintain a controlled flame and can reduce excessive soot, mushrooming, and an overly large flame. We recommend trimming to approximately ¼ inch before each burn.

Are your candles tested?

Yes. Testing is an important part of our candle making process. We evaluate our candles for factors such as wick performance, flame behavior, melt pool development, vessel temperature, and overall burn performance before bringing them to our collection.

Are your candles hand-poured?

Yes. Our candles are hand-poured in small batches with careful attention to formulation, fragrance, and performance.

Our products are thoughtfully made in Central Florida by Flame2scent Candle Co., a faith-forward, woman-owned small business.
