1. Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch to prevent excessive smoke and ensure a clean, even burn.
2. First Burn: Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar during the first burn, which usually takes about 2-4 hours. This helps avoid tunneling and ensures an even burn in future uses.
3. Burn Safely: Always burn your candle within sight and away from flammable materials, drafts, or vibrations. Never leave a candle unattended.
4. Extinguish Properly: To safely put out the flame, use a snuffer or gently blow out the candle. Avoid blowing too hard, as it can cause wax to splatter. Allow the wax to cool before handling.
5. Reuse the Jar: Once your candle has burned down to about 1/2 inch of wax, it's time to stop burning. Clean out the jar and repurpose it for storage or décor!
